Alien Spinner is an electronic spinning wheel designed to bring spinning equipment into the 21st century. With all the technology available today, a spinning wheel should be easy to use, comfortable to operate, and still retain the elegant design that a spinning wheel deserves.
Flexibility has been key in the design of the Alien Spinner: it can be controlled in any of several ways from completely foot-free to a smoothly variable throttle. Alien Spinner allows you to decide what you find most comfortable.

All Alien Spinners are hand-made in West Lothian using sustainable, locally sourced hardwoods. In fact, our timber supplier can usually tell us which exact tree each board is from, and where it used to stand.
